The Indiana State Archives holds the naturalization records for 81 of Indiana's 92 counties. Many of them have already been indexed by volunteers and can be searched at the Indiana Digital Archives. You can help create an index for the Lake County naturalization records from home - all you need is an Internet connection.
The Friends of the Indiana State Archives volunteers have been hard at work for more than twenty years creating indexes to many of the state’s records.
